Mozzarella  Toasty

  • 8 slices sourdough or crusty Italian-style bread
  • 250g Perfect Italiano Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • 100g thinly sliced smoked chicken or turkey ham
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 eggs, lighlty beaten
  • 1/3 cup Fernleaf Full Cream UHT Milk
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 20g Anchor Butter
  • Roasted cherry tomatoes, for serving


  1. Spread bread with butter sandwich pairs of bread slices together with Perfect Italiano Grated Mozzarella cheese, ham and tomatoes.
  2. Combine eggs, Fernleaf Full Cream UHT milk and seasonings in a shallow dish. Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture, draining off excess.
  3. Melt butter in a non stick frypan. Cook each sandwich for 3-4 mins on each side until golden brown. Serve warm with roasted cherry tomatoes.
