How to make butter go further
With a few types of butter to choose from, you can go for the original when you need full flavour and use a dairy spread at other times.
Sometimes you can replace butter and still get similar results in your baking and cooking. However, it will adjust the flavour. You could try replacing some of the butter in a recipe with a portion of Dairy Spread (we’d recommend no more than 25%).
Remember, if you replace butter, you’re also replacing the taste. So, if you’re looking for the flavour you normally get with butter, you’ll need to use butter.
Make sure you’re not using reduced fat butter, as this will change the balance of your recipe.
